ZOOTech - Cursor Hackathon

Overview

ZOOTech - Cursor Hackathon is a fast-paced, 24-hour event where you'll build real projects using the latest development tools. You'll receive a theme at the kickoff and then work with your team to create a software solution. It's a great opportunity to learn, connect with industry leaders, and test your limits in a high-energy environment.

Requirements

This hackathon is for ZooTech participants from Luma, who are of legal age. You need to form a team of 3 to 4 members. A specific topic prompt will be given on the day of the event, and your team's task is to build a software project around that theme within about 24 hours; Figma projects are not accepted. Your submission must include a 2-4 minute video presentation with a full project demo, a description of your project, and a link to your project on GitHub.

Prizes

The hackathon features a prize pool totaling CAD $700 in cash, plus Cursor credits and Garmin vívoactive® 6 watches. First place wins CAD $300 cash, $500 in Cursor credits, and a Garmin vívoactive® 6 watch per team member. Second place receives CAD $300 cash and $300 in Cursor credits. Third place gets CAD $100 cash and $200 in Cursor credits.
