Overview

This hackathon challenges you to turn bold ideas into real prototypes, focusing on AI technologies or a code-agnostic approach. It's a chance to form interdisciplinary teams, build solutions that matter, and get feedback from mentors. The event aims to bring creative minds together to explore AI's potential and is the first step in a new pathway for AI ventures with a leading venture capital firm.

Requirements

You can join as an existing team or form one at the event. Anyone above the legal age of majority in their country of residence who is a college student can participate. No AI expertise is needed. The hackathon is open to all countries, with standard exceptions. You'll need to submit a 2-minute demo of your solution and a link to your code repository (like GitHub) or design files (like Figma/Adalo). Projects started before the hackathon will be disqualified.

Prizes

There is a total of $11,000 in cash prizes. The top 3 teams will receive cash prizes, with the next two teams also getting cash awards, and the further next two teams receiving cash. Specific prize amounts for these tiers are $1,000, $750, and $500 respectively. Winning solutions also offer a chance to advance toward a new spring opportunity through a partnership with Mayfield.
