Overview
WarriorHacks is a virtual hackathon focused on CS and Business, welcoming all students aged 13 and up. Participants will have 48 hours to build digital prototypes around a theme revealed at the opening ceremony, with collaboration between Computer Science and Business students encouraged. Judges include academics from the University of Texas at Austin and industry professionals.
Requirements
This hackathon is open to all students aged 13 and older, regardless of their country of residence or experience level. Teams are not explicitly mentioned in terms of size but collaboration is encouraged. Participants should expect to use web, mobile, or AI tools to create their projects. The event takes place online from September 26-28, with judging by a panel from UT Austin.
Prizes
WarriorHacks offers several non-cash prizes. The Grand Prize winners receive CodeCrafters memberships: 1st place gets a 2-year membership (valued at $720), 2nd place gets a 1-year membership ($360), and 3rd place gets a 6-month membership ($180). Three 'Top Warrior' winners will receive specific AoPS textbooks. There's also a prize for the 'Best use of AI/ML' which includes a CleanShot X license. Additionally, 100 participants will receive 3 months of UniBee Cloud, a 1-year .xyz domain, and 1 month of Balsamiq Cloud.
