UMD x Ironsite Startup Shell

Overview

UMD x Ironsite Startup Shell challenges participants to advance spatial intelligence using AI through creative products or rigorous research. You'll have access to example construction video datasets and GPU credits to explore any spatial intelligence-related ideas. The focus is on novelty, creativity, and quality of execution.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to University of Maryland students who are above the legal age of majority. You must form a team to participate. Each team is required to submit a GitHub repository (without Ironsite data), a detailed README explaining your project, and a 3-5 minute video demonstrating your product or research. An optional PDF report of up to 3 pages can also be submitted. Finalists will be announced at 12:15 PM and will need to present in person.

Prizes

There is a total of $17,500 in cash prizes. The first-place winner will receive $10,000, the second-place winner will get $5,000, and the third-place winner will be awarded $2,500.
