TiDB AgentX Hackathon 2025

Overview

Join the TiDB AgentX Hackathon 2025, an online event focused on building multi-step AI agents that demonstrate real-world workflows. Utilize TiDB Serverless, including vector search, to create innovative solutions that go beyond single-question answers. Connect with TiDB engineers, gain visibility, and compete for substantial prizes.

Requirements

Participants must be 18 years or older and can join from any country or territory (excluding standard exceptions). Your project must leverage TiDB Serverless and demonstrate an agentic solution chaining at least two building blocks (e.g., Ingest & Index Data, Search Your Data, Chain LLM Calls, Invoke External Tools). Submissions require a TiDB Cloud account email, a URL to your code repository, a data flow summary, run instructions, a project description, and a demonstration video. The deadline is September 16, 2025, at 6:45 AM UTC.

Prizes

Compete for over $30,500 in cash prizes and swag bags. The top five places receive cash prizes ranging from $1,500 to $12,000. Additionally, there are special awards: $2,000 for the Social Good Award and $2,000 for the Best Open Source Award. Judging is based on Technological Implementation (35%), Quality/Creativity of the Idea (25%), User Experience (20%), Documentation Quality (10%), and Demo Video Quality (10%).
