The Phia Hack

Overview

The Phia Hack is a 24-hour hackathon challenging you to build a full-stack solution that could change the way millions shop. Phia is particularly interested in ideas around autonomous shopping agents, personalized shopping experiences, and social shopping. If you have a creative idea to make shopping smarter, faster, or more magical, this is your chance to ship it.

Requirements

This is an invite-only hackathon, so only accepted participants can join. You must be of legal age in your country. Your submission needs to include a 2-minute demo video showcasing your working product, a written project summary detailing your build, technical choices, and future plans, and a public GitHub repository with your code, which must be original work from the hackathon. You'll also need to give a live presentation to the judges, with 3 minutes for your demo and 2 minutes for Q&A.

Prizes

There's a total of $7,500 in cash prizes. The first-place winner will receive $5,000 cash, a dinner with the Phia team, and a fast-tracked interview. The second-place winner will get $2,500 cash and also a fast-tracked interview. These prizes are for a single winner.
