Tableau Hackathon

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build groundbreaking solutions using Tableau's powerful analytics tools. You'll leverage Tableau Next on the Salesforce platform or Tableau Cloud with its robust APIs to solve real-world business problems. Show off your imagination and skills to win a share of $45,000 in prizes.

Requirements

Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence and only specific countries are eligible. Teams should build a new solution using the Tableau portfolio, either Tableau Next with specific Salesforce orgs or Tableau Cloud. Submissions must include your Org ID and admin credentials if using Tableau Next, a text description, a 1-2 sentence pitch, a 5-minute demo video, a link to a code repository, and a list of APIs and dev tools used.

Prizes

There's a total of over $45,000 in cash prizes available. The Grand Prize winner receives $17,000. Other prizes include $7,000 for Best Data Layer Implementation, $7,000 for Best Use of Semantic Modeling, $7,000 for Best Use of Actionable Analytics, and $7,000 for Best Product Extensibility. The People's Choice winner gets a Tableau Swag Basket valued at $300 for up to 5 team members.
