Overview

This hackathon challenges students from all majors to explore how Artificial Intelligence can make a real-world difference. You'll work in teams to develop projects that use AI to solve problems in areas like technology, health, science, arts, and education. The goal is to turn bold ideas into meaningful solutions, and no prior experience is needed, just creativity and curiosity.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to NVCC students who are 16 years or older and located in the US. Teams will consist of 2 participants. You should create a project that integrates AI for Impact, which could be a working prototype, a research project, a design concept, or anything that creatively shows AI's potential. For submission, you'll need to provide a project description, explain the AI usage, include screenshots or a demo video, and list team members. An optional 1-3 minute video explaining your idea is encouraged.

Prizes

There are 4 non-cash prizes available. The top prize is the 'Innovation Champion' award given to 3 winners, recognizing creativity, technical execution, and impact, with winners receiving certificates. There's also an 'AI for Good Award' for 2nd place and a 'Future Visionary Award' for 3rd place, both awarding certificates. Finally, 'Honorable Mentions' will be given to 1 winner for creativity, teamwork, and presentation, also receiving certificates and social media recognition.
