Overview
StarkHacks is known as the world's largest hardware hackathon, where you can build any physical project over 36 hours with other skilled participants. Hosted by the Humanoid Robot Club and presented with AMD and cohosted by Ford, you'll get access to free food, equipment like 3D printers and microcontrollers, and a supportive community.
Requirements
This hackathon is for accepted participants aged 18 and above, and it's exclusively for students. It's an invite-only event. You can build any physical project, from drones to robotic arms, or even modify existing hardware like smart glasses or smart home devices to create new applications. Prizes
StarkHacks offers 21 non-cash prizes. The first-place winner receives a complete custom gaming setup, including a gaming PC, monitor, and keyboard. Second place gets Meta Ray Bans Gen 2 and a choice between a DJI Avata 2 combo or a DJI Mini 3. Third place receives a Canon camera kit and a one-year Whoop Peak Membership. Numerous other prizes are available for categories like Best Use of AMD Tech, Ford Industrial Robotics Grippers, Analog Devices Sensor Fusion, Espressif Innovation, Microsoft AI & Automation, Qualcomm Robotics, Best Use of Viam, QTex AI Creative Tech, Most Likely to be a Successful Startup, Best AI Wearables, Best Software Hack, Space Exploration, and MLH challenges using Gemini API, ElevenLabs, Solana, and Auth0.
