Seneca Hacks

Overview

Seneca Hacks 2025 is Tunisia's premier AI hackathon, challenging participants to build an effective NLP processing pipeline that delivers high accuracy on large datasets in the shortest time. The event focuses on data engineering, decentralized AI infrastructure, and real-time data processing, offering workshops and networking opportunities.

Requirements

Participants must be college students aged 20+ and must form teams of 4. Submissions must include a working demo or application showcasing performance (speed, scale, efficiency), clean and well-structured code with documentation, accurate and relevant outputs, and a functional, visually clear user interface. Bonus categories include gaming features, large-scale data processing, and fast response handling. A submission package with specific details is required.

Prizes

$4,332 in cash prizes distributed as follows: 1st Place ($1,396), 2nd Place ($1,196), 3rd Place ($600), Outstanding Design & Innovation Award ($540), Best Implementation Award ($200), Most Impactful Solution ($200), and People's Choice Award ($200). Prizes also include iPads, smartwatches, earbuds, and other benefits like job opportunities and incubation.
