PES AWS Hackathon With AWS User Group Madurai and Bengaluru

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build production-ready cloud solutions using AWS. It's focused on a 9-hour build sprint where you'll design and deploy scalable applications. The goal is to gain real-world experience solving practical problems with AWS services, especially using generative AI.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to college students from PES University's Electronic City Campus. Teams must have 4 to 5 members, and all participants need to be of legal age in their country. You'll be using AWS Generative AI services like Amazon Bedrock and Kiro, and are encouraged to build on AWS infrastructure services such as Lambda, EC2, and DynamoDB. Your submission needs to explain why AI is needed, how AWS services are used, and the value the AI adds. You also need to provide a project title and description, problem statement, architecture diagram, list of AWS services used, a public GitHub repository, a deployment link if applicable, and a live demo. It's mandatory to use at least one AWS service meaningfully and build your solution during the hackathon using Kiro, including a Kiro file in your GitHub repository.

Prizes

There is one non-cash prize for the winner, which is AWS Credits.
