Pedagogy Marathon 2026

Overview

This hackathon is for educators who have tried new teaching methods in computer science or IT and seen real student improvement. Instead of just talking about teaching, this is a chance to showcase what actually happens in the classroom. The focus is on practical, impactful ideas that genuinely help students learn.

Requirements

This event is open to professionals and post-graduates who are at least the legal age of majority in their country. Participants need to submit a short write-up of about 300 words detailing the course they taught, the unique method used, how students responded or learned differently, and any supporting evidence like samples or project outputs. There are no specific technical requirements mentioned, but the focus is on practical classroom applications.

Prizes

The main prize is a single non-cash award. The winner will receive an honorarium according to norms, TA/DA reimbursement, and will be featured in the Pedagogy Marathon brochure. They will also get a Distinguished Educator Certificate from JAIN University and GUVI-HCL.
