Old Hackathon Page
Overview
This hackathon challenges you to use Anthropic's Claude API to build safe, creative, and human-centered AI systems, focusing on areas like reasoning, accessibility, and education. You'll work on projects for about 20 days and present them live at the University of Toronto's Bahen Centre for Information Technology. Mentorship and workshops from sponsors like Anthropic and RBC will be available.
Requirements
Teams are required to submit a demo video (under 5 minutes) showing their project, a GitHub repository with all their code and documentation, and a short write-up (under 500 words) explaining their project's motivation, impact, and how it solves a problem. If you're entering Track 3, you also need to submit a PDF presentation, and the demo video becomes optional. All submissions must be uploaded to Devpost by November 22, 2025, to be eligible for judging.
Prizes
There are 4 non-cash prizes available. These include a Grand Prize for the best overall project, and awards for Track 2 (Human-Centered Design) with 3 winners, the Agentiiv Scholarship Challenge with 1 winner, and Track 1 (Reasoning Systems Award) with 3 winners.
