NextDev Hackathon
Overview
The NextDev Hackathon challenges you to develop innovative technology solutions for real-world problems. You'll get to explore cutting-edge technologies and create scalable, efficient, and impactful applications. The goal is to build prototypes that can make a meaningful difference in the world.
Requirements
This hackathon is open to students who are above the legal age of majority in their country of residence, and it's open to all countries except for standard exceptions. You can participate individually or form a team with other innovators, designers, and problem-solvers. Your team is required to build a functional prototype or application that addresses a real-world issue using technology, such as web or mobile apps, AI/ML solutions, data platforms, cloud systems, or automation tools. When you submit, you'll need to provide a project title and description, a 2-3 minute demo video, a public GitHub or GitLab repository with your source code, screenshots or demo images, a list of technologies used, and optionally, a project presentation.
Prizes
There are $3,899 in cash prizes available. The first-place winner will receive $2,000, the second-place winner gets $1,000, and the third-place winner receives $500. Additionally, there's a Most Innovative Award with a $399 cash prize.
