NexHacks
Overview
NexHacks is a 24-hour hackathon focused on building the foundations for a sentient digital city. Participants will work in teams to create solutions that imagine how we live, learn, heal, and connect in an era of advanced technology. Think about creating systems for adaptive learning, empathetic care, sustainable living, or optimizing well-being.
Requirements
This hackathon is for students who are of legal age in their country of residence and is open to participants worldwide, with standard exceptions for restricted countries. While teams are encouraged, the minimum team size isn't specified. You can use any technology to build your project, but there are specific tracks that encourage the use of certain platforms like The Token Company's compression model, Polymarket's trading tools, LiveKit's framework, Kairo's blockchain, Arize's AI tools, Seda's research engine, Wood Wide AI, DevSwarm, Overshoot, LeanMCP, and Wispr Flow. Submissions will be judged based on criteria specific to each track, focusing on practicality, usefulness, and innovation.
Prizes
There's a massive prize pool of over $71,000 in cash and other prizes. Several main tracks like Dev Tools, Healthcare, Education, and General each offer $2,000 with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. There are also multiple sponsor tracks with cash prizes, tech gadgets like Apple Airpod Maxes and Apple Watches, internship opportunities, and subscriptions to various services. For example, The Token Company track offers cash and Claude AI subscriptions, while the Polymarket track includes cash and Apple Airpod Maxes. Some tracks also offer special prizes for things like best UI/UX, best technical difficulty, most impactful, and best solo hacker.
