NeurIPS 2025 - Google Code Golf Championship
Overview
This competition challenges you to solve 400 tasks from the ARC-AGI benchmark by writing Python 3 programs using the fewest possible characters. The goal is to create concise, functional solutions that could serve as canonical references for developing more versatile AI systems.
Requirements
You need to submit a zip file containing a Python file for each of the 400 tasks. Each program must be functionally correct and self-contained, using only allowed imports. Solutions are scored based on their character count, with shorter programs earning higher scores. Incorrect programs receive minimal points.
Prizes
The total prize pool is $100,000. The top ten teams will receive cash prizes, ranging from $30,000 for first place down to $5,000 for tenth place. An additional $5,000 prize is available for the 'Longest Leader'. Top teams may also be invited to present their work at a special session during NeurIPS 2025.
