NeuraViaHacks

Overview

NeuraViaHacks is an online hackathon focused on leveraging medical data to create interactive software solutions. Participants will aim to 'Detect', 'Connect', or 'Personalize' health insights using AI and machine learning. The event encourages students aged 14+ from all countries to innovate in the fields of neuroscience and AI, with a goal of accelerating early diagnosis, treatment, and understanding of neurological disorders. Projects must include an interactive element, such as a web or mobile app, dashboard, or chatbot, and demonstrate real-world relevance, usability, and impact.

Requirements

Participants must be students aged 14 or older. All countries and territories are eligible, excluding standard exceptions. Projects should focus on one or more of the following: Detecting health conditions earlier, connecting patients/families/providers, or personalizing health insights using AI/ML. Submissions must include an interactive element and demonstrate real-world relevance, usability, and impact.

Prizes

$1,025+ in cash and other prizes. 1st Place Overall: $500 cash, GitHub Copilot (1-yr), Microsoft Dev Tools Suite (1-yr), $500 AWS Activate Credits, position on NeuraVia Software Development Team, 1:1 mentorship, 4x 7-Day Interview Cake licenses. 2nd Place Overall: $250 cash, $300 Google Cloud Credits, JetBrains All-Products Pack (1-yr), LinkedIn Learning (6-mo), 4x 7-Day Interview Cake licenses. 3rd Place Overall: $150 cash, Coursera/edX certificate course, Four $25 AoPS coupons, 4x 7-Day Interview Cake licenses. 1st Place Beginner: $75 cash, Coursera/edX voucher, 4x 7-Day Interview Cake licenses, up to 4 .xyz domains. 2nd Place Beginner: $50 cash, Coursera/edX voucher, 4x 7-Day Interview Cake licenses, up to 4 .xyz domains. Young Researchers Institute Scholarship: Up to $4,000 in scholarship aid for the highest-scoring high-school/undergraduate team.
