MVP Sprint Challenge
Overview
This hackathon challenges students to apply AI tools and product thinking to solve real-world problems, focusing on building feasible MVP-level solutions. You'll get to think like in a startup environment, using AI like Gemini 3.0 effectively and responsibly to present your ideas clearly. The goal is demonstrating feasibility, innovation, and real-world impact.
Requirements
This hackathon is open to all engineering students globally, regardless of their college, branch, or year. You can participate alone or in teams of 1 to 4 members, and cross-college teams are welcome. The competition starts with an online orientation on January 12th, 2026. Round 1 requires submitting a presentation using the official template and a 3-5 minute video explanation by January 16th, 2026. Optionally, you can submit a working prototype. The top 10 teams will advance to Round 2 for a live online presentation and Q&A on January 18th, 2026. Using AI tools like Gemini 3.0 is allowed and encouraged for productivity and reasoning, but you must be able to explain and justify your AI usage.
Prizes
There is one non-cash prize for this hackathon, which includes being featured on LinkedIn and community pages. Three winners will receive one week of mentorship, along with networking and future collaboration opportunities.
