MiniMax 2025 AI Hackathon in Hong Kong

Overview

The MiniMax 2025 AI Hackathon in Hong Kong is an open event for anyone interested in AI, powered by MiniMax's advanced AI tools for text, image, video, audio, and music. It features two tracks: the Developer Track for building AI solutions with social or commercial value, and the Creator Track for expressing ideas through AI-generated film or music. The hackathon offers opportunities to present ideas to investors and potentially secure startup funding.

Requirements

Participants must be of legal age and from any country (excluding standard exceptions). The event is free. Developer Track submissions require a runnable project URL, public code repository, text description, demo video (max 2 mins), team info, and must be created from scratch during the event. Creator Track submissions require a public video/music link (min 1 min, 16:9, H.264 for film), text description, and team info, also created from scratch. Projects must use MiniMax tools, and all code/materials must be original or open-source. Content must not be malicious, copyrighted, explicit, politically sensitive, or religiously derogatory. Submissions accepted in English or Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese).

Prizes

1 non-cash prize with 10 winners (TBA). Potential prizes include cash, MiniMax credits, and opportunities for investor pitches and startup funding.
