Maximally Grand Indian Hackathon Season
Overview
The Maximally Grand Indian Hackathon Season is a unique, three-month hackathon league running from September to November 2025. It features 10 different hackathons, each with its own challenges and awards, all contributing to a growing prize pool. This event is designed to celebrate consistency and community, welcoming builders of all kinds, whether they code or not. It's more about experimenting and having fun than just winning.
Requirements
Participants must be students and above the legal age of majority in their country. The hackathon is open to everyone worldwide, with standard exceptions for restricted countries. While specific submission guidelines vary for each individual hackathon within the season, generally expect to provide a link to your working project, a short write-up explaining your idea and how you built it, and optionally, a demo or pitch video. Some hackathons might ask for extra details like original links or prompt logs.
Prizes
The hackathon season offers over ₹80,000 in cash prizes spread across multiple individual hackathons. For example, awards like the Code Hypothesis, Protocol 404, Project CodeGen, Maximally Hacktober, PromptStorm, Steal-A-Thon, Codepocalypse, and Grand Tech Assembly each have 10 winners, with 5 cash prizes of ₹1,000 each and 5 recognition awards. There are also community and Discord-exclusive awards. Additionally, all submissions contribute to an 'Ever-Expanding Season Prize Pool' that will be distributed at the Grand Indian Hackathon Ceremony in November.
