Malim Hackathon 2025

Overview

This hackathon challenges participants to build an 'All-Knowledge AI Agent' and a next-generation library management system. The goal is to create a prototype or MVP that helps people connect, reflect, and rediscover their authentic selves. This project is a community-driven initiative focused on meaningful technology.

Requirements

Participants must be at least 15 years old and currently students. Companies and professional organizations cannot participate. Only specific countries and territories are eligible, so check the full rules for details. Teams should aim to build a prototype or MVP. The last submission date is January 31, 2026.

Prizes

There is one main prize: the winner will be invited to become a co-founder of the Malim startup. Additionally, there is a cash prize of RM1,000, which is self-funded by the organizer. The judging criteria include Idea & Relevance, Technical Implementation, Design & User Experience, and adherence to Malim Values.
