Innov8-A-Thon 2026

Overview

Innov8-A-Thon 2026 is a 24-hour national hackathon where over 500 student innovators will come together to create real-world solutions. You'll be working across AI, IoT, Web, and Hardware to build impactful projects. This event is organized by Sarala Birla University, Ranchi as part of their annual technical festival Tech Pragati 2026.

Requirements

This hackathon requires teams of 3 to 4 members, and all participants must be at least 18 years old. It's open to participants from all countries except for standard exceptions. The hackathon is an on-site event held at Sarala Birla University, Ranchi, Jharkhand, running from February 27th to 28th, 2026. All development must happen during the 24-hour hackathon period. To be eligible for judging, you must register on the official hackathon website, not just on Devpost. For submission, teams need to provide a project title and description, a working prototype (software, hardware, or hybrid), a source code repository link (GitHub/GitLab), and a mandatory 2-3 minute demo video. A presentation is optional but recommended.

Prizes

There's a total of ₹60,000 in cash prizes to be won. The winner will receive ₹30,000 cash, a certificate of excellence, and trophies. The runner-up will get ₹20,000 cash, a certificate, and recognition. The second runner-up will receive ₹10,000 cash, along with a certificate and recognition for their innovation.
