IndiaAI Impact Gen-AI Hackathon
Overview
This hackathon encourages college students in India to build Generative AI solutions focused on the Indian context. Supported by IBM and sponsored by Cisco, it provides resources like starter kits and datasets to help you develop impactful AI applications. You can choose from tracks like crop identification, energy load forecasting, or agentic AI applications for real-world issues.
Requirements
This hackathon is open to all college students currently enrolled in full-time academic programs in India. You can participate individually or in teams of up to three members. The process involves registering by August 24, submitting a project proposal by August 30, and if selected, you'll be invited to a Kaggle workspace by September 4, with final solutions due on GitHub by September 15. Your proposal submission needs to include a title, abstract, and a two-page PDF document. You must choose only one track for your project.
Prizes
There is one non-cash prize structure. The top three teams in each of the three tracks will receive prizes in the form of compute devices, with the total prize value per track being INR 75K. Additionally, winners from each track will get mentorship from IBM experts. All participants who submit valid, working solutions will receive a participation certificate.
