Overview

ImmerseGT 2026 is one of the world's largest XR hackathons, focused on virtual, augmented, and mixed reality. It's a great opportunity to network, learn, and build in the growing XR industry. Whether you're interested in spatial design, gaming, or applying XR to real-world problems, this event provides a platform for innovation.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to participants worldwide who are above the legal age of majority. To submit your project, you'll need to provide a description of your project (around 100 words), a 30-60 second demo video, and a link to your GitHub repository with an MIT License. All submissions must be made through Devpost by the deadline of April 12, 2026.

Prizes

ImmerseGT 2026 boasts over $6,100 in cash prizes and other awards. The Best Overall winner gets $1,000 cash, admission to the Create-X startup program, and tickets to the AWE Conference. There are also cash prizes for the Spatial Design and Gaming tracks, and substantial prizes for Snap AR, PICO, and Microsoft for Startups tracks, including Spectacles, cash, and $25,000 in Microsoft Azure credits.
