IEEE OC Computer Society AI Dev Hack 2025

Overview

The IEEE OC Computer Society AI Dev Hack 2025 is a 3-day virtual hackathon, taking place from September 5th to 7th, focused on developing AI-powered tools that create real-world impact. This event brings together developers, designers, engineers, and visionaries to collaborate and innovate. Participants will build AI-driven solutions across various tracks, including Business Productivity, Healthcare for the Aging Population, Productivity for Young Professionals, Voice & Conversational AI, Social Impact, and an open-ended Main Track.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to participants aged 18 and above who are residents of the US. Teams must ensure their submissions clearly indicate the chosen track and explain how the project addresses its theme or challenge. A demo video, 3-5 minutes in length, showcasing the project's key features and functionality is required. Additionally, participants must provide a link to their GitHub repository or equivalent containing the source code and necessary documentation. Ensure your project is submitted before the deadline.

Prizes

The IEEE OC Computer Society AI Dev Hack 2025 offers a total of $1,750 in cash prizes. The Grand Prize winner will receive $1,000, the 2nd Place winner will get $500, and the 3rd Place winner will be awarded $250. Additionally, winners will receive IEEE Swag Packs, and all participants will be recognized with a Participation Certificate from IEEE. Projects will be judged on Innovation, Technical Difficulty, Design & Usability, Presentation & Storytelling, and Relevance to Track.
