IBM Z Sheridan – BYTE: Enterprise AI Hackathon - TMU Tech Week

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build AI-powered solutions inspired by enterprise systems that handle critical services like healthcare and global infrastructure. You'll need to think about scale, reliability, and security, and align your project with UN Sustainable Development Goals. It's a great chance to gain enterprise problem-solving experience and build a project for your resume.

Requirements

This hackathon is for participants above the legal age of majority in their country and is open to all countries except for standard exceptions. Teams must submit a GitHub repository, a clear project description, explain how their project supports UN Sustainable Development Goals, and provide a short demo video of 2-3 minutes. A live demo presentation will also be part of the judging process. Projects must be built during the hackathon period.

Prizes

There are four non-cash prizes. The Enterprise Innovation Award includes official IBM Z Sheridan Gold Certificates, featured recognition at the TMU Tech Week Closing Ceremony, a LinkedIn spotlight, and a one-on-one coffee chat with an IBM industry professional. The Emerging Technologist Award offers Bronze Certificates and official recognition on IBM Z Sheridan social platforms. The Enterprise Builder Award provides Silver Certificates, LinkedIn recognition, and a group coffee chat with an industry mentor. Lastly, the SDG Impact Award grants a Blue Certificate for the best alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals and features on UNSA Sheridan and IBM Z Sheridan social platforms.
