Hoobit Hacks 2026

Overview

Hoobit Hacks 2026 is a global student hackathon focused on creating an AI-powered tool or platform. Over four weeks, participants will tackle a specific problem revealed on opening day, aiming to build a working prototype. This event is a fantastic chance for students to learn about AI, practice their coding skills, and contribute to a positive cause.

Requirements

This hackathon is for students aged 13 to 24, excluding professional organizations. It's open to participants worldwide, with standard exceptions. Teams need to submit a working prototype or a YouTube video demo showcasing their project. The code must be available on GitHub for a month after the winner announcement. Participants must also disclose their use of AI, cite any external data, join the Hoobit Discord server, and provide team member details for prize eligibility. Submissions should be original work, and all projects must be centered around the revealed theme.

Prizes

While there are no cash prizes due to the global nature of the event, winners will receive a "Global Builder Bundle" which includes subscriptions and credits worth $12,000. This bundle is automatically awarded to all participants who join the Discord server. There are also "non-cash prizes" for winners, likely including subscriptions and credits.
