Hex-a-thon

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to explore and analyze data using AI and the Hex platform. You can build insights, dashboards, or applications that solve real-world problems or uncover new opportunities. The goal is to create something impactful and shareable, leveraging Hex's collaborative workspace for data analysis, data science, and AI.

Requirements

Participants must be of legal age in their country of residence and are limited to professionals or post-graduates. The hackathon is open globally, with standard exceptions. Teams are not explicitly mentioned, but the prize structure indicates individual winners. You'll need to use Hex's notebook, semantic modeling, and AI capabilities to build your project. Your submission must include a project overview, a public Hex project link, a demo video up to 3 minutes showcasing your project and findings, and an option to share your project online. You can use provided datasets, your own data, or explore topics like prediction markets, slang evolution, FIFA World Cup predictions, or any other topic that interests you.

Prizes

There is a total of $10,000 in cash prizes. The first-place winner receives $3,500, second place gets $3,000, third place receives $2,000, and fourth place gets $1,500.
