HACK:XR+AI 2025

Overview

HACK:XR+AI 2025, hosted by the Technical University of Munich at the TUM Think Tank from November 13-15, 2025, is an interdisciplinary hackathon focusing on the intersection of Extended Reality (XR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and social impact. College students will form teams, receive expert mentorship, and prototype solutions addressing ethical AI in XR, gamification in AR, and socially aware virtual agents.

Requirements

Participants must be college students (Bachelor to PhD level) and above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. Only specific countries/territories are included. Participants will form teams and prototype solutions. Submission requirements and judging criteria are TBD.

Prizes

4 non-cash prizes: Overall Winner, Best Idea, Best Technical, and Best Ethics. Cash amounts are to be confirmed.
