HackWesTX VI
Overview
HackWesTX VI is a 24-hour hackathon hosted by Texas Tech Google Developer Student Club, focused on creating projects that benefit the community and encourage learning. This event welcomes students to build solutions using any technology.
Requirements
This hackathon is open to students who are above the legal age of majority in their country of residence and are located in the US only. Teams should be ready to build and submit their projects by the deadline.
Prizes
There are over $1,700 in prizes, including $1,300 in crypto and $400 in cash. Specific prizes include gift cards for the Patterson-UTI Challenge, a keyboard/mouse combo for the Best AI Hack, Apple AirTags for the Best Hardware Hack, and Solana stablecoin prizes for the top three Web3 Solana projects. Additional prizes include a Rokus for Best First-Time Hack, an Echo Pop Alexa for 3rd place overall, an Asus gaming monitor for 2nd place, and an iPad for 1st place overall. There are also awards for best use of the Gemini API (Google Swag), best use of MongoDB Atlas (M5GO IoT Starter Kit), best UI/UX (Digital Cameras), best game hack (consoles/gift cards), and a $1,000 Apple Gift Card for the Athleiq Challenge.
