HackWashU AI Build Challenge +AI Perspectives Week
Overview
HackWashU AI Build Challenge is your chance to create AI-powered tools that solve real problems, running during WashU's +AI Perspectives Week. You'll have a flexible build format and an open-ended prompt, so you can work on a project you're passionate about. It's beginner-friendly and open to all majors, with workshops and mentorship available.
Requirements
This hackathon is exclusively for Washington University (WashU) college students and is team-based. Teams should consist of 12 participants, but the exact team size is not specified beyond this. You'll need to submit a working prototype or demo, a project description detailing the problem, target user, and AI usage, and a short demo video. Your project must address a clear user problem and include a meaningful AI component that adds value.
Prizes
There are 3 non-cash prizes for the top teams. The top team will win a Nintendo Switch 2. Two other top teams will each receive Apple AirPods. Additionally, three other top teams will be awarded Airtags.
