Hackmas: HackMars 2.0
Overview
Hackmas: HackMars 2.0 is an online hackathon where students can build Christmas-themed programs to solve problems in education, productivity, or real-world issues. You'll need to integrate holiday elements into your project, whether it's a web app, mobile prototype, or even a hardware concept. The event encourages creativity and collaboration to develop helpful and festive applications.
Requirements
This hackathon is open to students aged 13 and older from all countries. You need to register on Devpost and join the HackMars Discord server. Teams can have between 1 to 5 members. Your submission must be a new project that addresses a real problem and includes a visible Christmas or holiday theme. You can build a web app, mobile prototype, extension, bot, or hardware concept. You'll need to submit a 3-5 minute demo video showcasing the user journey and working features, a link to your code repository (GitHub or similar), select one of the four tracks (Productivity, Real World Problem, Career + College, or Your Own Choice), and list your team members. Optional submissions include slides, a roadmap, or a live demo link.
