Hackiethon 2026

Overview

Hackiethon 2026 is a beginner-friendly hackathon challenging you to build a game powered by a Large Language Model (LLM). It's a great opportunity to get creative, use AI, and build your portfolio, with workshops and provided template code to help you get started.

Requirements

Teams can have 1 to 3 members. You need to submit your project on Devpost, including a project name, description detailing AI integration, a demo video (under 10 minutes) showcasing the game, and a GitHub link for your game's code. If you're eligible, you can also register for the First Year Team category. Submissions are due by Monday, March 30th, 2026.

Prizes

There's a total of $700 in cash prizes. The 'Best Overall Game' wins $200, 'Most Entertaining Game' gets $200, and 'Best First Year Game' also receives $200. Additionally, there are two 'Minigame' prizes of $50 each.
