HackBU - TerrierGPT Student AI Sandbox

Overview

The HackBU - TerrierGPT Student AI Sandbox, hosted by Boston University Spark!, invites Boston University students (ages 17+) to explore, build, and test with their personal BU data. This event focuses on leveraging student data to create innovative AI-driven solutions and agents within the TerrierGPT platform.

Requirements

Participants must be Boston University students, aged 17 or older. The hackathon is invite-only, and submissions are due by August 29, 2025, at 4:00 AM UTC. Depending on the chosen track ('Explore It!', 'Build It!', or 'Break It!'), submissions will vary, including presentations, video demos, code repositories, or documentation of identified vulnerabilities.

Prizes

Two winners will receive a HackBU Hoodie. Judging criteria include the utility and concepts of the ideas, the technical execution and readiness of prototypes, and the identification and documentation of data vulnerabilities.
