Hack The Problem
Overview
Hack The Problem is a mini hackathon where students build creative solutions using the Google Gemini API. Organized by the IT Club and supported by MLH and Google Gemini, this event challenges participants to develop impactful prototypes that address practical issues. It's a great opportunity to learn, experiment, and gain hands-on experience with AI.

This hackathon is open to IT Club students who are above the legal age of majority in their country of residence, and it is open to students worldwide except for standard exceptions. Participants must build a functional solution or prototype that addresses an announced problem statement and integrates the Google Gemini API in a significant way. Teams need to submit a project description, details on how it was built including Gemini API usage, the tech stack used, a link to their GitHub repository with full source code, and team member details.
Prizes
There is one non-cash prize for 'Best use of Gemini API', with three winners. The description mentions that all prizes sponsored by MLH and Google Gemini were distributed, but specific details about the non-cash prize itself are not provided.
