Hack the Bay | AI By the Bay hackathon

Overview

Join the AI By the Bay hackathon to build AI solutions and win prizes! This in-person event focuses on creating applications that solve real business or user problems, with an emphasis on production readiness, security, and operability. You'll have the chance to present your work and potentially speak on the AI By the Bay stage.

Requirements

Participants must be 18 years or older and can join from any country. The hackathon takes place at the Oakland Scottish Rite Center, and 30% of your team must be present in person. You need to register on both the event website and DevPost. Submissions are due by November 19, 2025, and should include your code repository and a 3-minute demo video.

Prizes

There is a total of $4,000 in cash prizes. The first-place winner receives $2,000, second place gets $1,000, and third place also receives $1,000. Bonus points can be earned by integrating Redpanda or Akka into your project.
