Hack Day @ GDG Gombe — Build the Future with Gemini

Overview

Hack Day @ GDG Gombe invites you to build innovative AI-powered solutions using Google's Gemini API. This MLH-powered mini hackathon focuses on creating real-world applications that address challenges faced by students, educators, and local startups, fostering community impact.

Requirements

Participants must be above the legal age of majority and can join from any country. Teams must have 2 to 3 members. Submissions are due by 2:30 PM WAT on November 18, 2025. You need to provide a project title and description, a 1-3 minute demo video, technical details explaining the use of the Google Gemini API and other technologies, team information, and a link to your GitHub or source code if applicable. Emphasis should be placed on creativity, community relevance, and how Gemini enhances your project.

Prizes

There is one non-cash prize: a Google Cloud Kit, which includes a handbag, cup, and books, awarded to 5 winners.
