GoOnHacks

Overview

GoOnHacks positions itself as the world's biggest hackathon for weird ideas. This online event encourages participants to think outside the box and develop original, unique projects. The focus is on creativity and embracing unconventional ideas.

Requirements

Participants must be at least 14 years old and can join from anywhere in the world, excluding standard exceptions. Projects must be original and submitted before the deadline on November 9th. Submissions should include a detailed project description reflecting on the learning journey, an optional demo video (max 3 minutes), a link to the source code (preferably on GitHub), team details, and any additional supporting documentation. Teams need to ensure all members are reflected on the portal upon submission.

Prizes

GoOnHacks offers over $1,167 in cash prizes and other rewards. The 1st Overall winner receives $1,000 cash, $600 in Athena AI credits, and interviews with sponsors. The 2nd Overall winner gets $100 cash, $400 in Athena AI credits, and interviews. The 3rd Overall winner receives $67 cash and $200 in Athena AI credits. There are also special prizes for 'Best Pitch / Most Performative' and 'Weirdest Idea / #1 Go On er'.
