Global Public Health Hackathon 2026
Overview
The Global Public Health Hackathon 2026 challenges you to create scalable solutions for global health equity, focusing on areas like public health, mental health, media for health, and obesity prevention. This is an international initiative by Young AI Leaders, aiming to develop real-world tools for public health.
Requirements
This hackathon is invite-only, with only 30 teams selected. You must apply via Luma. If selected, you'll need to join Discord and read your emails for official communication. Submissions are due on Devpost by March 29, 2026, and must include a project name, a clear description, a PDF presentation with an architecture slide and screenshots, a demo link, and screenshots or videos of your project. Teams will also give a live 3-minute pitch with a 2-minute Q&A.
Prizes
There are 4 non-cash prizes. Winners may get the opportunity to present at the World Health Assembly in Geneva or the WFPHA Global Meeting in Cape Town. Winning teams also receive 3 months of professional mentoring and AI/Tech credits for further development.
