GenZ Can Hack 2026
Overview
This hackathon challenges teens aged 13 to 19 in Toronto to design and build robots for better garbage management. You'll use Arduino or Raspberry Pi with sensors to create your solutions. The goal is to foster environmental awareness and innovative problem-solving among young people.
Requirements
Participants must be high school students aged 13 to 19 and be part of a team with 3 to 5 members. The hackathon is specifically for Canadian youth born between 2007 and 2013. You'll need to build a robot using Arduino or Raspberry Pi along with sensors, and the final project will be presented on August 22nd.
Prizes
There is a total of $5,000 in prizes. The Champion team will receive $1,000, with other prizes awarded to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th runners-up.
