Gen AI Chakra 4 Smart Cities Hackathon
Overview
Embark on the Gen AI Chakra 4 Smart Cities Hackathon, a month-long virtual event where students globally will harness the power of Generative AI to address pressing challenges in Smart Cities and the Solarpunk movement. This hackathon encourages rapid prototyping, advanced AI development, and integration of multimodal AI to foster solutions that promote sustainability, innovation, and positive societal impact. Participants will explore themes such as Smart Cities & Infrastructure, AI for Environment & Sustainability, AI for Education, Healthcare & Wellness, and CivicTech & Governance.
Requirements
This hackathon is open to all college students worldwide, aged 15 to 26. Participants can join individually or in teams of 1 to 4 members. No prior AI experience is necessary, making it beginner-friendly. To submit your project, you will need to provide a code repository (preferably GitHub), a demo video between 3 to 5 minutes, and a detailed project README. The README should outline your concept, the problem it solves, the datasets used, and specifics about your AI model and its results.
Prizes
There is a total prize pool of $380 in cash. The first-place winner will receive $200, the second-place winner will be awarded $120, and the third-place winner will get $60. Projects will be evaluated based on Innovation & Creativity (25%), AI Implementation (25%), Impact & Usefulness (20%), Technical Execution (20%), and Presentation & Demo (10%).
