FalconHacks by Google Gemini

Overview

FalconHacks by Google Gemini is a mini-hackathon hosted by the BGSU Developer Club, designed for students to build and innovate in a collaborative environment. Whether you're experienced or new to coding, this event is a chance to create projects using web, mobile, or AI technologies, with mentors available to help. The hackathon took place at BGSU, Hayes Hall, and has since ended, with winners being announced soon.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to participants above the legal age of majority in their country, and teams are required. Only participants in the US are eligible to join. You need to submit a public GitHub repository link for your project and a 2-minute video demonstrating your project, explaining what it is, the tech stack used, a demo, and what you learned.

Prizes

There are over $100 in prizes, including a $100 cash prize for the Best use of Magic Hour AI, which also comes with a final round interview for each team member for an internship or contractor position. Additionally, the winner for Best use of Google Gemini will receive a Google Swag Kit for each team member, and the Best use of AI Powered by Reach Capital winner will receive Logitech Webcams.
