Elasticsearch Agent Builder Hackathon

Overview

Join the Elasticsearch Agent Builder Hackathon to create powerful AI agents that can automate real-world tasks. You'll use Elasticsearch and Agent Builder to design agents that retrieve context, use tools, and perform multi-step actions. This is your chance to build agents that actually get work done and compete for significant cash prizes.

Requirements

This is a public hackathon, open to anyone above the legal age of majority, though some countries are excluded. You'll need to build a multi-step AI agent that leverages Elasticsearch and the Agent Builder framework. There are several suggested tracks for inspiration, like automating internal work or building tool-driven agents. For your submission, you need to provide a brief description of your agent (around 400 words), a demo video of about 3 minutes, and a link to your public open-source code repository. You can also get extra points by sharing your project on social media.

Prizes

There's a total of $20,000 in cash prizes. The first place winner will receive $10,000, second place gets $5,000, and third place receives $3,000. Additionally, there are four Creative Awards, each with a $500 cash prize. All winners will also be featured on the Elastic blog and social media channels.
