Develop the Next Hackathon

Overview

The Develop the Next Hackathon challenges students, developers, and designers to build scalable digital solutions for real-world problems across industries like healthcare, education, and finance. This is a chance to create practical solutions that could grow into real products or startups.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to students who are above the legal age of majority in their country of residence, and it's open to all countries with standard exceptions. You can participate individually or form a team of up to 4 members. You'll need to build a functional prototype or technology solution that tackles a real-world problem, focusing on innovation, usability, scalability, and impact. When you submit, make sure to include a project title and description, a 2-3 minute demo video, a public source code repository on GitHub or GitLab, screenshots or demo images, and a list of technologies used. A project presentation is optional but recommended.

Prizes

There are $3,898 in cash prizes to be won. The first-place winner will receive $1,999, the second-place winner gets $1,000, and the third-place winner will take home $499. There's also a 'Best Innovative Idea' award with a $400 cash prize.
