Overview
Dev Season of Code (DSOC) is an online hackathon for students and developers worldwide. It focuses on building practical solutions across software engineering, AI, data, and emerging technologies. The event emphasizes hands-on learning and aims to help participants ship scalable projects and gain global recognition.
Requirements
This hackathon is open to students who are above the legal age of majority in their country, and it's open to participants from all countries. You can participate individually or in teams of up to 10 members. Projects must be original and created during the hackathon. Submissions need to include a project title and description, problem statement, technical details, a code repository link, and an optional demo video or presentation. Make sure to clearly state any third-party tools or libraries used.
Prizes
The Dev Season of Code offers over $3,950 in cash prizes. The first-place winner will receive $2,000, second place gets $1,200, and third place is awarded $750. All teams that submit eligible projects will also receive a participation certificate.
