CuseHacks 2026 Datathon

Overview

CuseHacks 2026 Datathon is a 24-hour event hosted by Syracuse University where students can analyze, visualize, and interpret complex datasets to solve real-world problems. The datathon focuses on image and text classification, as well as urban data analysis and prediction, offering chances to network with professionals and attend workshops.

Requirements

This hackathon is open to college students above the legal age of majority and is limited to participants within the US. Companies and professional organizations are excluded. For Tracks 1 and 2 (Image and Text Classification), you must submit model predictions, reproducible source code in a public repository, and a technical description detailing preprocessing, architecture, and training. For Track 3 (Urban Data Analysis and Prediction), you need to submit reproducible source code and a presentation of your findings, including visualizations. The code must allow judges to reproduce your results.
