CSHub Local Hack Day

Overview

CSHub Local Hack Day is a beginner-friendly, 12-hour event where you'll team up to build a project from scratch and present a demo. You can build anything you imagine, but using Google's Gemini AI could win you special prizes. This hackathon is all about learning and creating.

Requirements

Teams can be any size and are open to participants above the legal age of majority in their country. All countries are welcome, with standard exceptions. You can build any type of project, from web apps to games, and you are encouraged to incorporate Google Gemini. To submit, you'll need to provide a GitHub repository with your full source code and a clear README, a 1-3 minute demo video showing your working prototype, a project description covering what it does and the technologies used, and a list of team members and their roles. Optional items like screenshots or deployed links are also welcome.

Prizes

There are over $23 in cash prizes and other awards available. The top prize for the best Gemini hack includes Google Swag for each team member. First place winners will receive LEGO sets for everyone on the team, and second place gets $23 in cash along with Amazon Gift Cards worth CA$25 per team member.
