comma_hack (six)

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build cool things with OpenPilot and comma hardware. You can create new UIs, explore new uses for openpilot, or build experimental projects like drones, robots, or even attach things to your body. The goal is to hack on the future of self-driving technology.

Requirements

You need to be at least the legal age of majority in your country to participate, and it's open to participants worldwide except for standard exceptions. It's recommended to apply with your existing GitHub, leaderboard, or openpilot work, and it's a good idea to play with openpilot before you arrive. They will provide comma fours, prototype bodies, and eGPUs, but you should bring your own laptop and ideas. Your project should be something that can be understood or run to be judged.

Prizes

There's a total of $5,000+ in cash prizes and other awards. The 1st place winner gets a comma four and $2,500. Second place receives a comma four and $1,500. Third place gets a comma four and $750. Fourth place receives a comma four and $250. The 5th place winner gets a comma four.
