Requirements

Participants must build a working software application using Kiro and submit it into one of the following categories: Productivity & Workflow Tools, Games & Entertainment, Educational Apps, or Wildcard / Freestyle. Submissions require a 3-minute demonstration video answering specific questions about Kiro's usage, a public code repository with a /.kiro directory at the root, the project category identification, and a write-up on how Kiro was utilized. Ensure the code repository is public and has an OSI Open Source License.

Prizes

The Code with Kiro Hackathon offers a total of $100,000 in cash prizes across various categories. These include 1st Place ($30,000), 2nd Place ($15,000), 3rd Place ($10,000), and category-specific prizes for Best Productivity & Workflow Tools, Best Games & Entertainment, Best Educational Apps, and Best Wildcard / Freestyle (each $5,000). Additional prizes include Most Innovative Use of Kiro ($2,000 x 5), Influencer Judge's Choice ($1,000 x 4), Social Blitz Prize ($200 x 5), and Bonus Blog Prize ($100 x 100).
