CMU Hack-n-Hire
Overview
This hackathon invites Carnegie Mellon University Silicon Valley students to build solutions for real startup problems in just 6 hours. You'll tackle challenges provided by partner startups and get guidance from founders. The goal is to create functional prototypes that address actual business needs.
Requirements
This event is for CMU Silicon Valley students who are of legal age. You'll need to form a team of 2 to 4 members. Your team is expected to build a functional prototype or a detailed technical solution based on a startup's problem statement. For submission, you must provide a project overview with a description, a link to your public GitHub repository, and your presentation slides.
Prizes
The main prize is a chance for the winning team to interview with the partner startups. There is one non-cash prize, which is this interview opportunity for up to two winners. This event also offers potential internships or full-time hiring opportunities and valuable networking with founders.
